Airbus Operations is looking for a

Working Student Final Assembly Line A320 Family - Project Management (d/f/m)

You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of a Project Manager?  Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!

The Final Assembly Line (FAL) Hamburg Modular Operations team is a dynamic and young group consisting of members from various departments including Production, Quality, Change-Management, Logistics, Planning, and Project-Management.
By joining the project team, you will be at the forefront of the transformation of the FAL, working on what has been described as “the most important project of A320 Family FAL Hamburg ”by HO OSC. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the FAL management Hamburg team and be part of the Level 5 Production Pace Control on a daily basis. You will be co-located to the project leader and have proximity to the FAL management team.

Duration: 12 months

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.
Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • The working student will play a key role in supporting project management and industrial topics such as:

  • Contributing to LBIP+ project management gates

  • Setting up industrial processes 

  • Documenting pilot-aircraft (MOps ACs)

  • Conducting data analysis (Leadtime Analysis, …)

  • Organization of the future FAL (Orgchart, Roles and Responsibilities, …)

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Enrolled full-time student in the area of (industrial-) engineering, aerospace or an equivalent field of study.

  • First practical experience in the field of production and aeronautic industry is desirable.

  • The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in project management and industrial processes, be practical oriented and have good communication skills

  • Fluent in German and English.
