Master Thesis within Simulation and Modeling (d/f/m)

Your tasks and responsibilities
Improve the simulation environment in Simulink to generate flight trajectories and simulated radio and inertial measurements of the aircraft and DeckFinder system
Identify and simulate advanced filtering techniques to globally optimize the system performance and reliability
Conduct a simulation study to determine the best ground segment unit (GSU) placement and optimal trajectory planning, taking into account factors such as served volume, antenna radiation pattern, and geometric dilution of precision (GDOP)
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled full-time student in the area of Aerospace, Communications, Computer Science, Physics or an equivalent field of study.
Practical experience in the field of Matlab and Simulink is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
Fluent in German and English.
Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g. Python or C++) is a plus.
Familiarity with aerospace and communications industry standards and best practices is a plus.
