In order to support Aero-Acoustics, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Master student within the field of Aero-Acoustics (d/f/m)

Your tasks and responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include the optimization of the propeller installation for unmanned aircraft systems, with a specific focus on:

  • Selection of low-noise propeller positions on the aircraft fuselage or wing

  • CAD design of new pylons

  • High fidelity CFD/CAA simulation of selected configurations with the Lattice Boltzmann Solver ProLB

  • Acoustic postprocessing and comparison of results

  • Presentation and documentation of activities and results

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Enrolled Full-time Master’s Student (d/f/m) in Aerospace Engineering or similar.

  • Good skills in Python and Linux environments.

  • Knowledge of Basic Acoustics.

  • Ability to work in a multinational Team.

  • Fluent English is mandatory.

  • German would be an advantage.
