Bachelor Thesis Lab Operations & Test future propulsion projects (d/f/m)
Airbus - E-Aircraft Systems (EAS) investigates hybrid electric propulsion systems and technologies for future airbus products.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Support commissioning of test System for new hybrid loadmachine integration and Liquid Hydrogen testbenches
Support commissioning Electrical Power Distribution Concept with real power (battery and H2) and emulates sources/ loads including test setup, execution and test result data analyzes
Support commissioning of Superconducting and Cryogenic Experimental powertrain Demonstrator
Define electrical Testbench adaptation with connection to Test and Support System.
Setup of Test Support System and Script and USER Panel creation
Define mechanical Testbench adaptation and create 3D Model for the next generation of motors (System under Test)
Define hydraulic Cooling adaptation and for the next generation of motors (System under Test)
Support building Safety concept for the electrical hybrid testbenches based on a central safety PLC
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled student (d/f/m) within Electrotechnical-, Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautic and Space or similar field of study
Experience in Matlab, C, Python, Eplan and CATIA/SolidWorks
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office or Google Suite
Fluent English language skills
German language skills are a plus
