Google hires great candidates from all academic disciplines and we offer internship opportunities for both technical and non-technical students.
Google pays a competitive intern salary, provides relocation assistance where applicable and interns can benefit from a wide range of perks - depending on location - such as free gourmet food, free gym access, an onsite massage service and many more.
Varies from year to year.
The duration of the internship varies between 10-12 weeks and 6 months, depending on business need, location and team.
Google offers a wide range of national and international internship opportunities, all of which can be viewed at www.google.com/students/emea. With regards to research projects and BA/MA/Phd thesis, please consult www.google.com/research to find out more about our research interests.
Google has an interest in keeping in touch with interns who performed well during their internship. Closer to their graduation date, we will reach out to disucss potential full-time opportunities that may be available in our teams and suitable for the former intern.
All interns are part of a structured programme which includes a formal mid-point evaluation. This evaluation gives the intern and their manager the chance to evaluate progress halfway through the internship. The evaluation will highlight accomplishments to date, identify strong points and those that can be improved for the remaining duration of the internship. Before finishing the internship, we encourage our interns to schedule a final feedback meeting with their manager.
Google hires internship candidates who return to university for at least 3 months after the internship. Priority is given to students who are within 3-18 months of finishing their degree. Those who have already graduated can instead apply for a role within the Business Associate Programme, which is our full-time developmental programme for new and recent graduates: http://www.google.com/students/emea.
