The Oncology Cellular Pharmacology group is offering an internship position in the field of RNA metabolism in cancer. You will support the identification, characterization and validation of novel targets and therapeutic concepts to drive our efforts in development of innovative oncology drugs. Together with a postdoctoral researcher, your tasks include planning and conducting experimental work, analysis and interpretation of results, and their communication in oral and written form. The position is open for a minimum time of 6 months with May 2018 as the earliest starting date.
Who you are:
Bachelor or Master in molecular or cellular biology, biochemistry, or other related biological sciences
Experienced in establishing and optimization of cell-based mechanistic and phenotypic assays in the field of oncology by applying state of the art technologies
Highly motivated, research-oriented individual with a problem-solving mindset
Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English
A background in cancer biology and / or RNA biology is a plus
Duration: 6 months, starting in March 2018
