First we read the candidates’ email address. From there we obtain the position they are applying for, if they meet all the requirements...etc. Then we look closely at their CVs, their cover letters and if they have any letters of recommendation from third parties. Depending on the interest aroused by the candidate and the vacancies, we contact him/her via email. From there we try to organize a Skype call in which the candidate has the possibility to present himself better and to highlight his qualities as well as to show himself naturally. In this way we can see whether a certain degree of professional complicity is generated between both parties.
Our internships are advertised on meinpraktikum.de. Here we are responsible for detailing not only our jobs and what we ask for them, but also what we offer to those who want to join our team. We would appreciate it if the application documents were in PDF format and if clear scanners of the certificates that support the validity of the curriculum vitae were also attached.
Our internships generally range from three months to around six months. However, we always have a one-on-one discussion with all applicants to reach an agreement in specific cases where these periods are not adapted to the circumstances.

Due to the absence of vertical hierarchies in Holi Me, there is a constant flow of transparent communication between practitioners and their supervisors. This means that a final evaluation is not necessary, as the practitioner never stops receiving feedback from more experienced workers. After all, since the trainees are from the beginning integrated into a work dynamic in which everyone is essential, they are constantly exposed to the opinion of the rest of us, since it is in the interest of all of us to correct each other in order to improve and make the final performance of the company in general better.
Within Holi Me we have different tasks to perform. On the one hand, there are workers who are in charge of looking for suppliers in different parts of the world, being in contact with them, negotiating prices and from there nurturing that relationship so that it is beneficial for both parties. On the other hand, there are jobs that involve being in charge of the design of our products and promotional campaigns. That is to say, all the visual elements that are going to be indispensable for our marketing strategies. Other tasks that tend to focus on the conceptualization of brand identity strategies and content creation and writing would also be distinguished. In addition to this, there are many other tasks such as translation into several languages, participation in brainstorming sessions, management and monitoring of social networks, etc... Of course there is one very fundamental activity at Holi Me: online marketing. For this it is necessary to do market research, detect attractive market niches through online sales platform analysis tools, design sales strategies, pricing, SEO, SEM...etc. All the above points are interconnected by numerous intermediate tasks that are carried out by all team members when necessary.
Of course! At Holi Me we are a very international team and we are always ready to integrate people from new cultures who will enrich us and bring us their creativity! Although we have vacancies where mastering the German language at a native level is indispensable, we have many other options where being bilingual in German is not necessary since our main language of communication in our workplace is English. However, it is important to point out that if you have a very low level of German, your level of English must be very high so that communication does not become an obstacle that makes it difficult to understand and ends up damaging the company's final performance.
Yes, please send your application to: [firstname.lastname@example.org]. Formulate the greeting in a neutral way.
Our internships are full-time. This involves working Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. That's 8 hours a day and at the end of the week it's a total of 40 hours. In some cases it is not a problem to propose an alternative schedule for circumstantial reasons, as long as the number of hours is maintained, another more flexible option can be considered.
The experience as a practitioner. Here at Holi Me, you have the opportunity to participate in a work dynamic that allows practitioners to apply their own ideas and initiatives to real-world situations and to be heard like any other experienced worker with more seniority in the company. In addition, the fact that we work at the Factory, an ideal networking space in the heart of the German capital, and the possibility of interacting with colleagues from different cultures at work, are both advantages for the trainees. Another point to note is that in Holi there is no place for monotony. Due to the type of business we are, the tasks we have to do always change and therefore the work becomes less tiring and probably tasks change every week, which not only makes the internship process more interesting but also offers the possibility of knowing different areas of work at the same time.
Our corporate culture is a consequence of the initial philosophy from which the inspiration to start this life project came. From Holism we extract that key concept that in order to achieve a balance that leads to the well-being of ourselves and the rest of the planet, a major factor is our interaction with the environment. It is precisely for this reason that we try to promote a positive, assertive, respectful and humble attitude (and a workplace without vertical hierarchies). This is because we believe that before workers we are people. We are emotional beings whose inner world ends up being reflected in their outer performance and therefore it is in the interest of all of us to help each other and to feel welcome, as if we were at home. That is why we decided to work without unnecessary dress codes, formalities, bureaucracy whose only consequence ends up being the abusive consumption of paper...etc We are committed to a much more human and therefore honest way of working. In short: we are young and we communicate directly and without complications, but without forgetting the professionalism that distinguishes us as a company.
The first week will be a bit abstract as it is mainly about finding your place as an intern and finding out in which areas you feel most comfortable and therefore are probably also more productive. This means that the trainee has to try out different tasks and gradually becomes accustomed to the company's work patterns. Once the first two weeks are over, the intern usually feels comfortable with his work and therefore develops a certain mechanicity that makes him work faster, which is also partly the objective of an internship, to discover in yourself what your strengths are and how efficient you can become in your different capacities. From there, new tasks will probably arise that will lead to other demands and therefore the learning process will be restarted until you master that as well. After the intern has tried various areas of work, an agreement is reached between the practitioner and the supervisors on how to proceed in an attempt to meet the needs of both of them.
Here we neither believe in the old-school concept of ‘intern’ (a.k.a. Mr.Coffee-Maker), nor do we believe in the contemporary concept of ‘intern’ (a.k.a. Mr.SocialMedia-nonstop-replier). We are an international and young team and that is why we know what an intern wants: not to feel useless or waste time. Here your actions will have a direct impact. Due to the fact that we are in the midst of a growing phase, each and every one of the people who make up the Holi Natural family plays a very important role. Our workplace is the Factory. It is a co-working space (good for networking) that also offers access to ping pong tables, sofas, cafeteria, terrace, Wifi and up to 9 different flavors of tea (counted). From the first minute, we take care of integrating the new practitioners and understanding what they are looking for in order to reach an agreement in which both parties benefit. We don't need unnecessary dress codes or formalities here, we believe in good humour and good work. You too? Pack your bags, can't wait to see you join us in Berlin! ?
