What do we offer?
We offer a unique opportunity to gain work experience in the Private Equity sector. For a period of 3-6 months you will work cross-platform (Connected Consumer, Smart Industries, Sustainable Cities and Health & Care) as a member of the investment team. As an intern you will support the team over the full investment cycle (from origination to investment, over portfolio management and exit) and will have the opportunity to:
Become familiar with industry standard research engines and databases
Develop your investment and financial analysis skills
Gain industry insights through close collaboration with our experts
Develop your soft skills and network through internal and external meetings
Upon completion of the internship, many of our interns are prepared to function as an Analyst in an investment bank, M&A or Private Equity house. We encourage them to apply for any open position within Gimv.

Key competencies and qualifications include:
First-class business, economics, science or engineering degree
Previous experience in the Corporate Finance environment
Financially numerate with excellent Microsoft Office skills
Excellent communications skills, fluent German and English
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrable interest, experience and understanding of specific sectors we focus on
