About the Job
As a ‘Test Engineer’ intern you will be part of the development of DCDC Buck Converters. You will support the test team with developments to ensure the best in class performance and reliability of our products for our customers. This also includes hard- and software development for our infrastructure. You will be directly involved in the test of our newly developed next generation devices.
Responsibilities may include:
Design of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in Cadence Allegro
Development and integration of software packages in C++
Independent execution of reliability tests and documentation of the results
Analysis and visualization of the acquired measurement data
Support of product development in cooperation with other functional groups such as design, validation engineering and systems engineering
Minimum requirements
Student of Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Information Technology, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or similar
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
First experience with PCB hardware development
Interest in analog circuit technology and its test methods
First experience with data analysis tools, Microsoft Visual Studio and MS-Office is advantageous
Basic programming knowledge is an advantage
Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment with other technical departments
Communication skills English (written and spoken) are a must-have. German language skills are appreciated.
