In order to support the A320 MAP Predict team, Airbus Operations is looking for a

Internship within the Data Science team of A320 family (d/f/m)

Afterwards there is the possibility for writing a final thesis, upon agreement with the department.

In MAP we support several steps of the aircraft manufacture, therefore you’ll participate in solutions that use information from different divisions, such as Design offices, Production, Quality, Flight test, seeing a tangible value for the users of the projects you contribute to.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

Collaborate with the Data Analysts and Data Scientists to gather data and understand business requirements

Support Data Scientists in data wrangling and Exploratory Data Analysis

Develop Machine learning algorithms

Desired skills and qualifications

Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or similar field of study

Programming skills in Python, Spark and/or SQL (Javascript is a plus)

Experience with AWS is a plus

Aerospace engineering knowledge is a plus

Business fluency in English. Proficiency in French, German or Spanish is a plus
