Internship (inc. thesis) at Corporate Internal Controls & Risk Management

Would you like to take a look behind the scenes of Internal Controls (ICS) and Risk Management (RM) and gain practical experience in an international healthcare company? Then support our ICS and RM team as soon as possible! Our team is responsible for the global standards of Fresenius Medical Care with regard to Corporate Internal Controls and Risk Management. Here you will have the opportunity to gain insights into the various processes of Fresenius Medical Care and to learn where risks are and how they can be moderated through appropriate controls. This way, you can make contacts, explore possible career paths and possibly write your thesis with us. 

Your Challenge in Detail

You will proactively contribute to the implementation of ICS digitalization and optimization measures, including control automation (segregation of duty & business intelligence reports), testings in SAP development systems and the development of Excel documents with VBA are among your exciting tasks In addition, you will contribute to the implementation of data model enhancements (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Intelligence and Excel ICS Sample Generator) You will prove your analytical talent by conducting risk analyzes and data evaluations independently as part of ICS monitorings Even more: You will update and develop ICS documents for the intranet, such as presentations and user guides Sure, that the support with global ICS initiatives and other administrative project management activities (e.g. appointment coordination, follow-ups etc.) are also part of your diverse tasks

Your Competence is in Demand

Current studies in the fields of Business, Business Informatics, Finance, Digitalization, Mathematics, Statistics or Industrial Engineering IT affinity and good knowledge of the common MS Office programs, especially good Excel VBA skills desirable Very good English skills, written and spoken Very good ability to work in an international team and environment as well as organizational talent Good analytical skills to familiarize yourself with complex issues and to communicate these issues in an understandable way to global stakeholders
