In order to support the Electronic Surveillance, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Internship within Radio Signal Emitter Localization (d/f/m)

Your location

At the Airbus site in Friedrichshafen you will be working on innovation where others spend their holidays. Enjoy panoramic views of Lake Constance while having lunch in our canteen. And after work, join one of our many corporate sports groups to go running, sailing or skiing.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Familiarize with RF emitter localization techniques and the SW

Integrate components (SDR, edge devices, etc.) of the system into a an operational prototype

Prepare optimization measures

Perform lab tests

Prepare and participate in emitter locator aniconic chamber trials

Evaluate results and implement changes

Prepare and perform field ground test

Prepare and perform airborne tests                      

Report of test results

Desired skills and qualifications

Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Industrial Engineering, Engineering / Physics / Electronics / Automation or similar field of study

Matlab/Simulink, C++

EMC, Antennas, Software Defined Radio, Radio Transmitters

Signal Processing, Radio Communication

Languages:English, German

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
