Internship within Development of an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Antenna Model in Matlab/Simulink (d/f/m)

Your tasks and responsibilities
Identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements. Define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates. Provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements. Familiarize with a Matlab/Simulink based Radio Frequency Simulation Environment (provided by Airbus) Familiarize with AESA Radar systems and existing mathematical models (e.g. Matlab Phased Array Toolbox) Develop an AESA Antenna model in Matlab/Simulink Integrate the AESA Antenna model in the Radio Frequency Simulation Environment Evaluate the results and document your work
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Industrial Engineering, Engineering / Simulation / Modeling / Automation / Mathematics or similar field of study Experience in Matlab/Simulink, C++ Signal Processing, Radio Communication Antenna characteristics, Electromagnetic measurement, Radar behavior Languages: English, German (optional)
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
