Your tasks
As an Intern in Corporate Lending you will be part of our dynamic team. As the market leader for German medium-sized enterprises, you will have the opportunity to work with us and gain hands-on experience in managing one of the largest and most profitable credit portfolios in the bank while contributing to the overall performance of Corporate Lending.
Your work consists of seeing the portfolio from all perspectives, starting from the transactional level. Together with our international colleagues we use capital market products, promotional programs of development banks, securitisation and insurance solutions to hedge risks and optimize the bank’s capital. Your contributions in departmental projects regarding regulation (e.g. ESG), product development and digitization will further strengthen our portfolio management platform.
During your 6-month internship you will gain good insights in our work. If you are not sure whether you want to interrupt your studies for such a long time, we would invite you to apply for shorter internship with the possibility to join as a part-time Working Student afterwards.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Econometrics, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Excellent/good German is desired, but not essential.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), VBA, Python, SQL, or similar skills are an advantage
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and independent with a strong desire to learn
- Excellent communication skills, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Above-average self-responsibility, motivation, and understanding
