Final thesis within Flight Physics Engineering (d/f/m)

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities

In-Service Event modeling, simulation and validation

Design of experiments of design loads simulations inspired by in-service events

Evaluation of simulations and in-service data including studies of loads drivers

Result exploration and presentation as basis for reactive high-load event assessment

Documentation of all studies in English including used and developed software

Desired skills and qualifications

Enrolled Full Time student (d/f/m) within Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering or similar field of study

Advanced Python and MATLAB skills are mandatory

Fundamentals of aircraft design and in particular overall aircraft loads are advantageous

Basic skills in SQL and JavaScript are beneficial

English: fluent

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
