About the Job
The goal of the Automotive Embedded SW Internship is to develop a test automation environment that will replace a significant portion of the manual testing currently required for failure verification of TI's Automotive mixed-signal ASIC quality returns. This project involves the use of current technologies and programming languages to create a Software solution capable of monitoring a range of digital and analog signals and controlling multiple measurement instruments while performing various test procedures. The trainee will work closely with our Field Quality Application Engineering team to develop test automation solutions and will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Automotive mixed-signal ASICs in TI's Field Quality Department.
Responsibilities may include:
Development and debugging correlating test Software
Aid in the creation of work instructions to the Quality staff on the use of the SW

Minimum Requirements:
Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering
Qualifications:
Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, embedded systems or an equivalent degree
Final year student preferred but not required
Experience in programming microcontrollers is required
Classroom and/or real-world experience LabVIEW, C, C++, Assembly and Python is highly preferred
Experience with programmable Lab equipment/instruments is preferred but not required
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
