20 Wochen Pflichtpraktikum im Jahr 2016

Good Evening, I am from India and doing my Masters on Scientific Instrumentation (Mechanical Engineering), Subjects: FEM, Design, Sensors, Embedded, Optical, etc.

The task which i was done in the company was, while i came, i was not that familiar at 3D printing. But, after few weeks i am used with the technology and lot of my Co-Workers helped me a lot by giving me suggestions how to do. I worked on Assembly section, Some times giving print and giving print for Print Develpoments pieces in Felix and Mendel Max. I have designed some parts which are used in the machine with a design software. I sorted out the PEEk printer parts in a proper way with giving names on the boxes and i entered the parts which are going out and coming in from the company in the SQL Ledger. I have done stocklist for the PEEK printer machine parts.

Coming to the company environnement, each and every person from the company helped me and encouraged me to learn and get an experience on 3D printers. I am very happy that i covered whole departments (marketing, sales, technical, etc). Employers in the company are cool, team spirit and hardworking capabilitiy. When any applicant is applying in our company i just say be brave and workhard. Don't think about future, think about the present situation surrounding your life.

I am having a faith on people of Indmatec, that definately the company goes to higer stage within soon in the world. I hope that the dream comes true soon.

I am a student from Groningen/Netherlands. I started working at Indmatec 5 months ago in the sales department. Indmatec is a young and innovative company in the field of 3D printing. The first week I was already given a lot of responsibility, which made my internship a nice challenge from the start. Working in the sales department provided me with the skills and experience needed for my future career. Some key competences I was able to work on was: leadership, organizing, problem solving and intercultural competence. In the sales department I maintained contact with contacts across the whole globe. It is wonderful to see how much progress Indmatec made in the 5 months of my stay. I am sure that the future will hold much more for Indmatec. The culturally diverse environment of Indmatec is a great place to work for an International Business Student like myself. The company organized travels and events that made it easy to get to know each other and created a strong team-spirit. I have met some interesting people and wish Indmatec all the best in the future.

20 Wochen Hochschulpraktikum im Jahr 2015

I did searching funds for start-up business and make handbook for new interns. From this experience I learn lots of things. Especially I learn how the start-up businesses are going. Like how they can raise money for start-up and how they pick up the suitable workers and how they make motivate to all workers include interns. I really impressed that the CEO shakes all co-worker’s hands in every morning so I’m became more motivated and also I did translate press and upload it in the blogs. So it makes attract the customer to INDMATEC.

Our company’s environment was really in an atmosphere of freedom. It means i can try all what I want. But we should show our output. So every Monday all our interns are doing elevator speech in front of marketing & sales teams. And we did a lot of things for our team building. We went to the Amsterdam for 3 days and visit EU Parliament in Strasbourg and also sometimes go to swim near our office. i think all these activities are not just for trip or fun. All our works are influenced by these activities. Because we can do better our team project and do better communications.

So I can say with confidence. INDMATEC’s work environment is perfect. The first thing is you should manage your time efficiently on yourself. It means you should show your output yourself for your freedom environment. Everyone doesn’t force you even the top management. But you should find your work yourself. Many greetings from Korea.

8 Wochen ERASMUS Internship im Jahr 2015

I am a student from Spain. I have been two months collaborating with Indmatec in the research and development department in Karlsruhe (Germany). During this time, I have had the opportunity to get in contact with people from different cultural backgrounds, expand my language capabilities and learn the approach and working methods applied in a multi-cultural environment. This has improved my knowledge and contributed in a great deal to my professional experience, preparing myself for the future challenges that such a globalized and international market has to offer.

Having worked in a small enterprise like Indmatec gave me the opportunity to have an overview of the whole process of 3D-printing, from the filament production, through the mechanics involved in the 3D printer production until the final printed part. At Indmatec I also had the unique opportunity to work with high performance polymers such as PEEK, PEI and HDPE. My tasks included operating, maintaining and selecting printing materials for 3D printing. I provided technical assistance in the development of their FDM 3D printer, which has the innovative capability to print with PEEK, assisting also in the assembling of the printer itself. I was also the main responsible for the extrusion of the filaments which are fed into the printers, having processed materials like pure PEEK, glass fiber reinforced PEEK, PMMA, HDPE and glass fiber reinforced PA6 for the 3D printer. My activities also included the 3D printing of several different parts, using materials like PEEK, ABS and PLA. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

  • » Amazing bosses and the greatest team ever! «
12 Wochen Auslandspraktikum über AIESEC im Jahr 2015

I worked in the IT department and had the time of my life as an intern at INDMATEC GmbH. It is incredibly dynamic, small, creative company, with clear vision, high performance team, and huge dreams. They found perfect balance between creativity, hard work, and having fun which defines us as a family, and define company as “small google” between start-ups.

Amazing bosses, who were having faith in us. They gave us chances to help each other accomplish our mutual dream, allowing us to be unlimited creative. I can never forget team building events they provided us, such as trips to Strasbourg, Amsterdam, bowling or just having ice cream together while working.

The CEO, an absolute winner, great mind set, person who can lead INDMATEC to the stars. I will never forget his free consulting sessions, table soccer matches with him and a lot of small things which meant to me much. His partner, the CTO, was always so kind but unfortunately I didn’t have chance to work with him, because we were working in different fields, and also the Head of R&D, boss who believed in my skills even in the moments when I did not, always made my day at work.

The Head of IT, Automation & Robotics, boss, teacher, colleague, friend, has changed my professional career, and as he said once: “I taught you everything I know”. I cannot say "thank you" enough times, ever. His knowledge is precious, and he is an extreme hard worker who really loves INDMATEC, genius. The most important is that he is a really great person.

I think the most important thing for new interns in the IT department would be the willingness to learn, as I had countless amount of nights spending with my boss working on software together, creativity, responsibility to develop own ideas.

During this internship I improved some old skills, and learned many new such as using Linux operating system and commands in terminal, html, css, ajax, jsc3d, javascript, php, bootstrap, wordpress, bash scripts, python, c++, robot operating system etc. I also had the chance to do some electronics, to work on raspberry pi2, to learn how to 3D print and much more.

The most important thing I learned at this company is to take care of your friends and family and to never forget them while chasing dreams, because they are the most important part of our life. I was so lucky and had also amazing colleagues, apart from that we are so international, atmosphere in company is attracting mostly amazing people. I would like to mention some of them, stars of the company, but they are amazing team and that is the best way to talk about them as a team. They are the most important part of my last summer at INDMATEC, and we will never have this moment again, but memories will always stay in my heart.

Wish you all the luck in the future, INDMATEC.

Best regards, Mario M. from Serbia

12 Wochen Praktikum im Masterstudium im Jahr 2015

Hi, I am from Miami (FL), United States. This internship was a great learning experience and I met many people from different cultures. The work environment was very friendly and comfortable, but at the same time it was a busy working environment. Everyone was serious about accomplishing their tasks on time. My co-workers taught me a lot and were always helpful when I needed support with a task. I worked for the sales and marketing department, where I would contact customers and at the same time perform marketing tasks such as creating brochures, updating blogs, and publishing articles. I could not ask for better bosses either, and I am thankful that they gave me this opportunity to work for a young and innovative start-up company. The main highlight for me was working in such an international team and constantly learning from each other. This internship is definitely for you, if you enjoy working with a culturally diverse team and simultaneously on different projects. The company has a lot of potential and is growing quite fast for a start-up. Due to many changes taking place in just a month, I have no doubts that the firm will become a very successful and a well-known brand worldwide in the 3D printing industry soon. After doing my internship, I now start writting my master´s thesis also with INDMATEC.

I have had the chance to work for a few months in the sales and marketing department of INDMATEC, an innovative and multicultural start-up company based in Karlsruhe. 12 Wochen Internship im Jahr 2015

Hello! I am a girl from Seoul/Korea. I finished my first internship in this German start-up company, INDMATEC, a month ago. My main responsibilities were making improvements to web presence, generating article, press and online marketing, making marketing strategy and manage every possible task to handle home country clients service. Because INDMATEC is a small start-up company, even though I was just one of the many interns, I was nearly 100% responsible for what I was doing. Also management team trusts in every single intern, gives us freedom and responsibility. It made me motivated, confident. And INDMATEC has the newest technology and information, I could also learn new trend of related industries. I still have huge impression of it. I have learned many things like how to build up team working skill, make sales and marketing strategy, solve the problems, approaching them in different ways. What I mainly learned was how B2B is working and how to think creatively in business way to accomplish the goals.

INDMATEC has more than 15 different nationalities coworkers including management team, so that all we could learn interesting culture differences and respect them too. We often go out to promote mutual friendship and refresh mainly by our managers. The management team always considers how to make work place fun and professional at the same time. Working, getting along with other interns who have different culture motivated me a lot.

Working experience in INDMATEC changes me a lot in a good way, and makes me more confident in myself. I am very proud that I was a part of INDMATEC. I would never forget it.
