On the cutting edge of advanced logistics thinking, the DHL Customer Solutions and Innovation unit drives innovative, industry-specific solutions. Unraveling the complex world of logistics, we provide our existing and potential strategic global customers with integrated logistics solutions on behalf of the DHL business units that simplify the customer experience. An integral link between internal business units, our Innovation Centers engage in customer workshops and business unit discussions to explore, develop and showcase logistics trends and solutions for the world of today and tomorrow and leverage the potential of our Group. Our Trend Research unit is part of the Innovation Center program at
DHL. Your internship at the unit will give you an extraordinary
opportunity to work in critical robotics projects. You will apply your
skills to advance DHL’s strategic objectives in robotics and automation.
Drawing from your creativity, you will help drive the development of
solution prototypes and proof of concepts with partners, customers and
startups. Your responsibilities will also involve executing
communications plans to disseminate pilot and research results. In
addition, you will support the robotics accelerator program by scouting
the next generation of robotics technologies.
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in engineering or
business administration (industrial or logistics specialties preferred)
- Fluent in English; German would be an advantage
open-minded and outgoing, with a passion for innovation and new
technologies and a talent for identifying opportunities in new
- Excellent project management and interpersonal
skills; highly motivated and able to work independently in an analytical
and structured manner
- Ability to assess business cases and business processes
